Well, this should be quite exciting — the first… uhh… selling of Walfas stuff at a convention in Japan! I’ll go add some stuff to the right side of the site later so that when this blog post falls off the front page, it won’t be forgotten!

That’s crazy awesome. You’re becoming big in Japan, I’ve noticed! Walfas stuff on Nico, Maizake anime, and now that we’ve got this, well, yeah. So, yeah, like Kanako said, what kind of stuff’ll be there? I was under the impression that you’d be making Touhou posters in Walfas style and selling that, judging from the fact that the image you posted with this post looks like it could be a poster, but is there anything else? (GROUCHY REIMU PLUSHIE = MUCH WANTING) (and maybe a $1 Kikuri coin although that would probably actually sell for like $5000 or something)

It’s not going to be anything as great as plushies — those are pretty difficult (and expensive) to make. It’s just going to be a bunch of plastic folders (you know, the kind you put paper in) and some DECO chocolate (the wrapper has a design on it).
There’ll be other stuff planned for future events like Reitaisai and Fuhai Komachi, but that’ll be addressed in the future.
I still wouldn’t be surprised to see someone take up the possibility of Walfas-styled plushies down the line. At least at the rate things are going here. :P

As for returning profits… firstly, I don’t really know if I’ll be making profit at this point. I’ve spent around 2 grand on printing costs. (So, starting on debt, pretty much.) If it sells out, it should make a bit of money. In which case, I’ll flood Kirby with Touhou goods.
As for international shipping… I plan on selling on consignment at White Canvas, so it might reach Palet Mail Service or HimeyaShop after a while. (If you can read Japanese, you can buy direcetly from White Canvas.) I don’t think Palet or Himeya accept it if I ship directly to them, although it’d be neat if they did.
If not, I might accept orders through email if I can get Paypal working in Japan.
