Not a flash

No, this is not another flash, although it probably will be some time in the future. I was trying to include the ideas that people gave on the Touhou imageboard thread, since a lot of them involved a lack of donations to the shrine and whatever, so I drew Reimu in the Shrine with a computer (because she accepts donations on the internet). I was thinking it’d be “Shrine Appreciation Day” or some other made-up holiday, and people would be visiting the shrine (“Look, it’s a shrine! Let’s sit here and appreciate it.”) and Reimu would come up with some way to get money from them, probably something involving setting things on fire, but then I realized… I don’t really know where to go from there.

I probably won’t have a new Touhou flash up this week (Unless you count the Cirno game, of course). Yeah, I know I don’t really need to make so many flashes because I’m not really on a schedule or anything, but I dunno, I kinda want to make one each week. So uhh… brainstorm ideas for me or something. I will attempt to make a Touhou flash next week! For now, I guess I’ll try to finish watching all of Lucky Star by tomorrow (I have four episodes left to watch).

Even in a flash game, F.O.E.!

I made a new Cirno game! It’s pretty much like the first one I made a few months ago, except it’s vertical and you can shoot things. Sorry about the nonexistent loading/instructions screen, it kinda just jumps right into the actual game when you click on the page. I tried putting in a loading/instructions screen, but when I got to the actual gameplay, the score didn’t show up for some reason. And yes, I am aware that the music doesn’t loop well. If you can find a version that does, I can change it.

The game is kinda repetitive, like the other ones, though… but I guess this is just one of those games you play when you’re really bored and have nothing else to do. Post comments, suggestions, and other stuff here (or on the flash page) if you want to.

Yes, I am playing in easy mode. Don’t make fun of me!

So I was checking that awesome Japanese blog today, and I saw this interesting looking flash game, and I decided to check it out. It’s kinda like Touhou (it even has Touhou music), but with different characters and whatnot. I think it’s supposed to be like Mountain of Faith, but I’ve never really played MoF, so I dunno. I’m not really all that good at danmaku games, even on easy mode, but this one was pretty fun. It’s almost 9mb, so if you see a white screen, just wait until it’s done loading.


Also, here’s Marisa. She’s supposed to be shielding her eyes from some very bright sunlight or something like that, I dunno.

A flash about Letty and Cirno!

Letty and Cirno, best friends forever! Sorry if it seems a bit cheesy, it didn’t seem that way in my head when I was thinking of ideas. It probably wouldn’t be that way if this weren’t one of those “click to continue” things where you can choose when you want to go to the next scene, like most of my flashes are. I don’t really think this one is that good, actually… and I’m kinda running out of ideas. I just got this idea when I decided to draw Cirno and well, let’s just say it became the last picture in this flash. Also, ignore the fact that Cirno doesn’t have wings until the end. I just didn’t feel like putting them in. But yeah, winter is awesome.

Updates to create.swf

In other news, I added Letty, a watermelon sword (Advent Cirno, wooo), and a snowy background (with actual falling snow!) to create.swf! I’ll be adding Chen later. Update: Okay, I added Chen.

Well, I’m writing this in case I don’t finish the flash by today. But it should be finished by today, it’s not really the same as the other flashes in that they’re more similar to my flashes based on my daily life rather than most of the other Touhou ones (I don’t know if that sentence makes any sense or not). It’s not really that funny either; I just think it’s nice to look at. Well, you’ll see when it’s done. And here’s a picture I drew yesterday, just so this entry won’t seem so boring.


I can’t really draw eyes that well… I tried, but it just looks weird. So I went back to using lines for eyes. It just looks a lot happier. I made three versions, and I think like the second one the best. The first one’s just kinda… bored. Yeah… okay, I guess that’s it.
