Pet Tenshi

Thanks to Thefre and his actionscript abilities, we have a functional pet* Tenshi simulator, based on that Tenshi Rock flash from last week! Throw rocks at Tenshi, or give her the rock and let her throw it at an invisible wall! There are also a few achievements to be unlocked (because everyone loves achievements), so you can waste even more time! Fun times for all!

The embedded flash may be a bit small, so I have included links to an html page with a larger embedded flash and a link to the swf file itself.

*Please note that the word “pet” is being used as a noun rather than a verb. There is no petting in this flash.

Update (Feb 2, 2010, 9:21PM Eastern):
Here is a new thing!! Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to change the rock graphic to some other things that are not rocks.

Rainbow Danmaku

Scheduled post number three! Some sort of rainbow danmaku thing. You can click to start shooting some rainbow danmaku from your mouse cursor, and press left or right to switch backgrounds (taken from create.swf). It’s kinda fun to play around with! At least in my opinion, anyway.

Cirno Throw

I don’t really know why I made this, actually. I guess I had nothing else to do. But anyway, it’s based on the actionscript on this site with some slight changes. Drag/drop/toss Cirno! The directional arrows on your keyboard do stuff too. There’s not much else you can do because I didn’t really add anything other than Cirno, but with the power of imagination… no wait, there still isn’t much else to do.

In other news, I will be taking late-administration-date AP exams for the next two days! Tomorrow is Calculus BC and the next day is Physics B (even though I won’t get college credit for Physics B if I do well on it). And I have to be at school at 7:30AM, which is about an hour and a half earlier than I would normally start school (just like when I had zero-period gym!), so I should probably go to sleep earlier.

Youmu Platformer (2)


Well, I spent some more time adding things to the Youmu platformer from two days ago. This version has moving enemies, a Myon that follows Youmu, bigger enemies, water, and a heart that replenishes 5 HP! Also, I increased the HP of the smaller FOEs so that you can’t kill them in one hit no matter how close you’re standing (that was intentional in the first version, though). Yeah! I still haven’t added a game over screen, so you still can’t die.

Youmu Platformer


Well, we had a snow day today, which I find strange because we never really get snow days (since the subway makes it really easy to get around). So I spent some time making this. It’s kinda like this really old platformer test except it has Youmu and is better. But it’s still not a full game or anything, though. There are only three screens, and only two of them have actual enemies (FOEs that don’t move). Also, you can have negative health because I forgot to add a thing to check if your HP is zero, and I don’t really feel like doing that right now. Yeah.
