It’s like his RATTATA is in the top percentage of RATTATA. Let’s discuss Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver or something. This is what happens when I procrastinate yet again and I didn’t feel like doing another video post right after a video post so I made this.
GDI AND THAT’S THE ONLY THING HE EVER CALLS FOR. its never like “hi nice weather we’re having MY RATATA IS IN THE TOP PERCENTAGE” or even “oh hey i really miss you ITS LIKE THE TOP PERCENTAGE”. no it’s only the same call every time.
You thought it was going to be a straightforward mission: infiltrate the offshore cleanup facility, rescue the hostages and the President, and stop the terrorists. But then you discovered a conspiracy that could shake the United States to its core! Now your hero-worship-idol has betrayed you, you were kidnapped and stripped by the terrorists, and now you must run naked through the bowels of Arsenal Gear while your CO babbles nonsensically at you.
I haven’t played pokemon since blue, how many pokemon are there now? I hear this version comes bundled with a pokewalker that people are already engineering ways of cheating.
The first time I got that call was five minutes after I fought him and I thought it meant he wanted a rematch, so I went all the way back through the routes I’d passed to get back to him just to have him tell me he’s not good at catching pokemon. Ever since then I’ve secretly loathed him. I answer his calls and then remain completely silent until he hangs up. He doesn’t seem to notice, though. He just goes on about his Rattata without seeming to care if I have anything to say. I have feelings too, you know! T.T
@Thefre: 493 currently, but two more for an upcoming 5th generation have been confirmed.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind if Pokemon stopped at HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is the epitome of gaming and musical awesomeness, you don’t have much room to improve on that.

A pokemon mmorpg does seem the logical way to go. The only reason why nintendo hasn’t jumped on it yet is probably because they only do console games. Though the DS is online capable is it not?
I personally think such a thing would be awesome, as long as they kept the core gameplay pretty much the same.
@Thefre: The latest games have online capabilities, but i think there’s a limit or something to what the DS can do.
That said, a PC game with similar graphics would be interesting. as for the core gameplay… Making it work in an MMO would be an interesting challenge. I would love to see how it would be pulled off.
But Nintendo did say that they are in no hurry to jump to online gaming. Pity.
Im fine with new games coming out, because really, I don’t see why Gold/Silver would be the prime of the pokemon – In fact I like most other games’ music better, also G/S legendaries weren’t as awesome as other editions legis. And the afterstory of G/S – I didnt like that one – It was just a short version of pokemon red/blue.
i don’t own Heart Gold or Soul Silver at the moment. All I have is Sinnoh and Hoenn games, oh an Leaf Green. (Only time I did play a Johto game is when I deleted my brother’s file in Gold Version when i was so young o.o he sure as hell wasn’t happy :D)

I’ve already beaten red and have gotten the majority of the legendary pokemon in SoulSilver. And all the pokemon I don’t have are simply going to be traded from Diamond.

So after dealing with the trainer and that darn RATTATA for about 800 hours gametime on the original Silver version, It ended with me deleting everyone off the cellphone list. A few days later, I figured out why trainer RED lives in the cave in the middle of nowhere.
(sidenote: you HAD to answer every call on the original Silver)
