well, as far as i know it’s just another ordinary day, it comes once every 4 years of course but, it’s not like it has nay kind of speacial meaning, maybe means that the earth takes 364 1/4 days to revolve around the sun so we need a 1 extra day every 4 years, but htat’s just plain formalities, it would be the same if it was March teh first and december had 32 days ir something like that, anyways that’s too much said, sorry about that (-_-´)
Leaps years actually don’t happen every 4 years; on years divisible by 100, there’s no leap year; except those divisible by 400 (such as 2000). So it’s like the earth actually has, not 365, not 365.25, not 365.24, but 365.2425 days a year!
I had to make a program in java last year to display if it was a leap year or not. It was hard becuase I kept messing up the conditionals and it took a long time but it didn’t take too long in the end becuase nothing was hard in that class since everybody was morons :
“Over here Leap Day’s the one day women are allowed to propose.
That would have made a great flash.”
I’ve heard something about that over here (in England) too. I agree – maybe a Flash with another little chance for Alice would have made my day. =P
It’s a half day tomorrow? For you maybe…
This actually is a perfect representation of days like tomorrow. It was the same way with 7/7/07.

Over here Leap Day’s the one day women are allowed to propose.
That would have made a great flash.
I didn’t realize yesterday was 29th of February until I saw this flash.
Duh. >>
Oh wow, now I understand why my watch jumped a day. :|
And I was asking myself why I didn’t even notice Feb 29th.
