AP exams

Darn it, darn it, darn it. I really wanna talk about the AP exams, but there’s that whole rule about how you can’t talk about the contents of the exam until 48 hours after the test. I don’t wanna get sued or anything. I guess I’ll do it on Friday. I made a flash about it, although there’s no real joke (the joke is in what actually happened). I think anyone who took the AP English Language and Composition exam today will know what I’m talking about. The document-based essay, that is. Oh, you know, that. A bunch of people laughed when they saw that essay prompt and the last source, including myself. Anyway, can’t post the flash or talk about the exam today, sorry. I reaaaaaally want to, though. It’s so silly!

  • …what.

  • It’ll be the biggest inside joke until 48 hours is up. We’ll all be laughing about it in front of all of you and you’ll be like “What is it? Tell us!” and when we finally do, everyone will be like “It’s not that funny.” That is my hypothesis.

  • what does AP stands for?

  • There’s really a rule about not talking about the exams for 48 hours? After the test, I talk to all my friends about it. Down with the rules! I wonder if anyone would really report you or check your site to see if you were talking about it.

You should have made a flash about the nameless character talking about the exams. Then a bunch of police or something come out and arrest the character and it ends with Yuyuko death sentence.

  • @Immac: The Associated Press. Obviously, Kirby is attempting to become a journalist. Nah, I’m kidding, it’s Advanced Placement. College-level courses you can take in high school.

  • Thing is, despite that 48 hour rule. The very moment my AP U.S History exam ended, the DBQ topic, all four free response essay topics, and numerous fragments of the multiple choice section were leaked out to everyone and his or her grandmother. Faculty, students, parents, youkai, cats, you name it, they know it. We even got to find out the US west coast’s writing topics shortly after.

For security purposes I will not further discuss “that thing” which appeared on “it” nor will I sell out to those test prep book publishers. Kaplan, Princeton Review, and all your cohorts, you won’t get a single word outta me, you hear!
Damn, I think I just secured myself the death sentence. Um, what are ghost stomachs like?

  • haha, you take ap classes

  • *sits and waits* n.n

  • Grr. I don’t like inside jokes. Unless I’m inside, of course.

  • But you told me ;_;

I don’t wanna get you sued.

  • That 48 hours thing is a joke itself…

  • @bluish wolf
thanks, I only had TOEFL and SAT here.

  • @ukki: It’s not really a joke as such, as Anonymous above stated, answers and questions can be told for discussion with other people, and i’m sure you’re you’re not the only one who’s gonna be taking that test.
An example would be the current exams i’m taking. Microsoft 070-271 Supporting users using a Microsoft XP OS, and there are hundreds of practice tests out there with the exact questions from the actual test out there on the internet.

  • What’s the English Language test all about, anyways? I took the English Literature exam instead.

  • It wont be funny, At all. That’s mine hypotenuse
    :(

  • Now I wish I was still in high school to take the exam.

And like Anon I took the Literature exam too. Thing was a joke.

  • the GED test says that your essays become property of the GED testing center and you’re not allowed to share the contents of your essay with anybody

  • KirbyM KirbyM, pls be including “I cant discuss the contents until 48 hours or else ill be sued!”

  • hint: pennies

  • Man, the document-based essay sucked. I mostly ended up writing about economics, but I would’ve liked something less pertinent and material and something more abstract.

  • There’s a 48-hour rule over there? =/ Seems a little strange in my opinion, unless there are other people who haven’t yet done the same test.

@Immac: There are SATs here too. I’m surprised GCSEs haven’t been mentioned yet either. ;P

  • @Anonymous: They’re dark (幽々) places.

  • I can wait :)

  • Allrigt then, I’ll just wait 48 hours
    ….

    OK I’m bored of waiting
*Leaves to go play flash touhou*

  • …what? We’re not suppose to talk about the AP exams until after 48 hours? They never told me that…

  • Well, everyone discusses it with their friends in real life, but I just don’t wanna do it on here yet because it’s the internet and I’m sure they could find out about it if they really tried.

  • It’s funny enough you can’t talk about it, make a flash about how you’re not allowed to talk about it.

  • Actually, the 48 hours only applies to the essay portion. The multiple-choice portion of the exam can’t be discussed until 10 years after the exam administration when they release the questions. (I think that this actually varies from test to test; the chem multiple choice questions are released after only six years.)

  • I know that the teachers get the essay booklets with the prompts back in 48 hours; that’s what happened to the APUSH test. But then again, the multiple choice for those are released later on in the year or maybe the next year, like November or something. We took a practice 2006 exam and 2007 prompts for a mock test.

  • I drew on my environmental science essays. :)
