November SAT IIs

Well, I just took the SAT IIs for physics and math (level 2) earlier today. The math subject test wasn’t too hard, but the physics was kinda bleh. Mainly because I ran out of time at the end, and didn’t get to do like 10 (or 20… or 25) questions. I don’t even know how many questions there were, since I didn’t even see the last page, but I think it’d be around 75 questions total. I probably took too long for each question or something. When the proctor said there were ten minutes left, I was still around question 40ish, and I sorta ended up rushing.

I doubt I did too well, but apparently the scoring for physics is pretty lenient, so you can omit a bunch of questions and still get a high score. I guess I’ll see when the results come back in a few weeks. I’ll probably end up taking it again in December, except this time I won’t wait until a week before the test to start studying.

Anyway, this week’s create.swf update will come sometime later today.

  • sometimes i rush on tests too, just so i could look smart for finishing first o.o

  • Well, we have to wait for the create.swf’s Weekly update. The Tests are evil

  • November 1st is truly scary.

Watch the create.swf update be tomorrow.

  • I don’t find it scary, since it’s caturday :p

  • Took SAT I today. Hooray.

  • As a former student who went through all the SAT business, I can give you a tip: Statistically, tests in spring tend to be easier (January, I think).
Of course this is only statistics, and this only helps if you still have time to take more exams in spring.

    Anyway, hope you did well!
Good luck on rest of your exams (APs, more SATs, etc.) and also on applying for college.

  • I took the AP Physics exams instead of the SAT IIs. For the Phyiscs C E/M, I practically guessed or left blank more than half the problems there, and I still ended up with a score of 3. so… yeah, I wouldn’t be too surprised if you end up with a high percentile score.

  • the vocabulary tests from elementary school were hilarious!

“The can _(sound)_ down the stairs.”
    a) Exploded
    b) Rustled
    c) Clattered
    d) Flopped

i got kicked out of the room several times for laughing XD

  • Thats nothing compared to an IT test I once had. There was a picture of a computer and these questions:
    “Label the mouse”
    “Label the moniter”
“Label the floppy disk drive” (yes, seriously)

It was basically half an hour of that :p

  • That reminds me. Do you think it’s legal to tell us what that penny question consisted of by now?

  • @Person: I think I explained it in the post here. It just asked us to justify or argue against the abolishment of the penny using the documents provided. And one of the documents was just a picture of some pennies.

  • Bah, you people. When I was in high school, having a floppy disk was REQUIRED! I even used some of ’em in my freshman year in college!

… And now I have a bunch of floppy disks and no idea what to do with them. :(

  • Also, my plans for my comic were set into slight disarray because Sanae’s stick isn’t spawnable as a separate item. :x

  • Thank God I don’t have to take SAT’s for colleges here :D

  • Heh, you took the same SAT Subject Tests I did. I got perfect 800s on both, but my major ended up completely unrelated to either subject…

  • I took the Math level 2 as well, it killed me. I’m a Slowpoke with math. Now it’s just banking on the scoring system from here on in. This is what I get for not studying. Though I’m sure you did well.

  • That picture of unnamed character reminds me of myself when I’m in the middle of a multiple choice test
