Added a revised version of
Meiling to create.swf (the older version is still there)! I kinda like the older hair style better, although that may just be because I’m so used to seeing it. And since it was easy to do, I also added Lie Meiling (basically just a Meiling recolor). Also added the other things you see in the background, and a green ZUN beret… hat… thing. The one with the flower design on it.
I’m going to title these blog posts with “Create.swf -” in the front of them now, because it makes more sense than to just have the character’s name without any context. Anyway, I guess the updates after this one will probably be more detailed versions of older create.swf characters, since they really do need to be revised.
Nice level of detail on the new China.

This is a friendly reminder to add the following sometime in the future maybe: More RPG-styled weapons, arrows for your bows, beam rifles, ice cream, a kitchen sink, and a inexplicable banana-shaped pool toy.

“Non-existent” is listed twice, pairing Meimu Bow with a “Non-existent”, the new China Hat with “Meimu Bow”, and so on.

(That “I’m tottaly a dragon” is awesome, btw).
And my suggestion: next remake, do Remilia (or at least her wings).
The new Meiling look is pretty-detailed, but the good ol’ China is still in my heart, because she is totally a Dragon!
The detailed versions of each character is a good idea, but if you can, add the other Advent Cirno chars, pwease :3
The problem with fan made characters isn’t the fact of who created them, as much as it the amount….

I think it’s because Hourai looks identical to Shanghai, at least as far as sprite goes.
In any event, I have also made a new installment of Scarlet Weather Archive.
Well there are a bunch of different fan interpretations of Hourai, so it’d kinda be more of a “pick and combine your favorite fan versions” thing than an actual accurate depiction. At least that’d be the easiest thing to do IMO.
I just got an idea: how about a small Metal Gear Solid-esque exclamation point as either an accessory or as a separate object (or both)?
