I understand the T part, but not the square part. I guess people can use them to draw squares if they want, but it isn’t a square itself. I can’t really find anything about it on the internet either, but maybe it’s something so obvious that it doesn’t need explaining. But I don’t get it.
Oh, hmm… I forgot about the word “square” as a verb. The definitions from dictionary.com “to test with measuring devices for deviation from a right angle, straight line, or plane surface” and “to make straight, level, or even” seem to make sense.
Maybe they’re implying that Ts are for squares?
Or, to make more sense, because it can be use for measuring or drawing lines?
@Roggamer22
Silly K, Squares are for T.
when i saw T squares i thought you ment the tetris one xP
It’s probably using the word ‘square’ in the verb sense (like “squaring something up” or “square off”); i.e. creating right angles.
Also, in repeating the word square several time, the word has lost all meaning to me. Square square square square square.

Now I get it!
Is it hip to be T-square?
…
*Kyon face* No it is not.
But why not, Kyon-kun!?
: <
T-squares… I truly don’t know either. They look more like crossbows.
I couldn’t tell you even if I tried. Sorry.
All that aside, it still made me laugh.
Yay, Kirby now knows the true meaning of T-Squares!
We MUST have a part two of this series with nameless character struck with awe in having such knowledge!
….
Or not. (It sounded good in my head.)
In all honesty, I still say the information as a whole is misleading to those who don’t know the literal term.
If I had to name it, I’d give the ruler something more definitive, like a “Perpendicular Ruler”.
….
Okay, that didn’t sound great either when I said it in my head.
Screw it. T-Square.
Conversations like these are awesome
If it’s a T that squares up the angle, wouldn’t it be more appropriate to be called T-squarer instead?
I don’ even know they’re called T-squares.Heh, using without knowing their names is a bit…
Only this site could make this comic funny.
Where I live, I think we call it “Headed Ruler” or something like that. That makes a little more sense.
I didn’t knew either that thing was called that way, well, it means nothing still because it doesn’t apply in spanish -.-
And using tools without knowing their names is like discussing about if a platibus is a mammal or not, it’s completely irrelevant.
On a side note, whenever you feel an earthquake, do not what I’m doing, what is ignoring it XDDDDDDD
@ TyrannoRexaur
Because because because there are no platibusses in Gensokyo!
If you add Strings to a T-Square, it becomes a T-Square with Strings.
Oh, platibus XD My bad XD
So does Sakuya maintain the angles of her time-stop danmaku attacks with a Private T-Square?
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
@ Person: NOW you finally notice?
T! :D
eh, maybe it could be the 90 degrees part of it
like how there 90 degrees in the angle of the square? o3o
just guessing xP
24th!!
Usually the smaller ones are squares. I forgot what the medium and large ones are called. Something to do with wood working.
