Included in this videos post: some strange version of Cirno’s math class, a laser version of Cirno’s math class (LASERS YEAH), a Kaguya vs Mokou Get Down, a Suwako dance (parody of this; I can’t find the original nicovideo URL), Youmu on a trampoline (parody of Churuya), a Higurashi parody of this Innocent Key flash, and a Kasane Teto version of Silver Forest’s ?Destiny song. Youtube’s being really slow right now, so you might have to wait (or maybe it’s just my connection).
Here are some pictures (taken by Talka) of the ?-crew file folders that will be sold at Scarlet Square (See this post for explanation). The front is opaque and the back is partially transparent, and when you put some paper in the folder, you can see the nines and text/logo more clearly! The event is actually tomorrow (since it takes place on the 15th and it’s already the 14th in Japan), so I guess it would make sense to have some pictures of the thing being sold. There’s also some chocolate. It’d probably make more sense to have this blog post in Japanese, since most of the people going to the event will be Japanese, but I guess the pictures make it self-explanatory. So yeah, now we just wait to see how it turns out!
Walfas goods will be sold at the Scarlet Square (Aka no Hiroba) event in Japan later this month! The image above is a cropped version of the plastic file folder that will be sold at the event. I won’t actually be there selling things (nor will I even be in Japan), but Talka will. And here is what he has to say!
Hello! I’m a friend of KirbyM, and I go by the nickname Talka recently. To get to the point quickly, I will be releasing goods created together with KirbyM at Scarlet Square on the 15th of this month. Details are posted on ddiction.org. I hope to see you at the event.
Well, this should be quite exciting — the first… uhh… selling of Walfas stuff at a convention in Japan! I’ll go add some stuff to the right side of the site later so that when this blog post falls off the front page, it won’t be forgotten!
Here are two videos from Cirno is a Genius (The second one is a parody, it’d probably help to see the original), with some super-awesome camera/lighting techniques and special effects! And create.swf! The videos look a lot better in HD. I mean a lot better. Anyway, yes. Nifty. It probably would’ve been better if I had posted the first one yesterday, seeing how it was Monday and everything…
Well in the end Reimu, Marisa, Aya, Remilia and Patchouli made it in with another 43 contestants to make 48 total.
Next will be 7 or 8 preliminary rounds which will whittle this number down to 27 characters who will join the 37 prequalified characters in the main league of 64.
In brief, these preliminary rounds will be held thus:
1. 48 characters divided into 4 groups of 12.
2. Each group will compete, the one with the most votes in each group will qualify for the main league.
3. Remaining characters are reshuffled into new groups and compete again until all 27 slots are filled.
(For more detailed information, please see the rules page)
The 1st preliminary round will be start on 0000 GMT, Monday, 19 January 2009.
P.S. In the main league of 64, each character will have a match with every other character, i.e. every character has 63 matches. This means that during each voting round, there will be 32 matches (32 characters vs 32 characters). The rules are such that during the main league voters must vote in a minimum of 8 matches.
And as you can probably guess, yes, homework took a lot longer than expected today too. Perhaps it’s because of my naps. I should stop taking naps after school… but I can’t.
