July 4th Weekend

This weekend a friend came to NYC (Friday July 2nd to Monday July 5th), and so we had adventures in the city. Here are some of the photos I took. Locations include: Times Square, Toys R’ Us, arcade, Nintendo World, Kinokuniya bookstore, ramen restaurant, Coney Island (hot dog eating competition, arcade, beach), Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and some random street where we watched fireworks. Versions of the images with slightly more detailed descriptions can be found on Twitpic. Also here’s a video of the Macy’s July 4th danmaku with a random building blocking part of it.

Added a revised version of Utsuho to create.swf. Well actually the clothes aren’t really revised (they are pretty nice already), but the rest of the things are. Especially the wings. The wings are nice. Also yeah I totally just skipped a whole bunch of characters too (Yorihime, Toyohime, PC-98 Marisa, Youki, PC-98 Alice, Kurumi, and Luize), I’ll probably get around to those sometime but they aren’t major characters or anything. Maybe I’ll do a Youki update soon. Also added these things:

As for why this update is on a Friday, I am suddenly going to be kinda busy this weekend, but I figured I’d try to get some stuff in. New requests should be posted in the previous create.swf post since I didn’t get around to doing most of those yet.

Okay, so rather than just not posting anything, I have decided I might as well post some things I drew today, though they’re not Touhou-related. After drawing this image in a paintchat, I felt like doing some more Hatsune Miku related puns, so here are these three in a flash, with the captions I included when I uploaded them to twitpic (1 2 3).

And that last one was so cool that I made this cool “camera-slowly-panning-across-face” thing to go along with it (embedded in the full post).
