Kaguya Keychains

As posted on ddiction.org (English version here), Talka will be attending Fuhai Komachi 5, where he will be selling these Mini-Kaguya+Twuck keychains (in addition to some previous stuff)! For those who are unfamiliar, it’s from this really old flash which is a completely made up version of why Kaguya and Mokou dislike each other. The booth location will be at D21b. Yes, that’s D21b. And yeah, that’s basically it, I guess.

Also, it’s a bit late, but anyone who wants to see images of Reitaisai and the ddiction booth can see Talka’s post on ShrineMaiden.

Yuyuko Keychains + Burger Reimu

(Reitaisai / ddiction)

Here are some pictures of the Yuyuko keychains (announced in this post) that Talka took after the box arrived! Reitaisai is tomorrow (since it’s already the 7th in Japan, and it takes place on the 8th), so if anyone’s going, make sure to visit booth ?47b to get a Yuyuko keychain and perhaps even some ?-crew file folders and some other things from the western Touhou community (like a physical copy of Another Dream)! Again, that’s ?47b as in Ku-47b! Also, apparently there’s also going to be a sketchbook where people can draw and leave messages for me to read after the event, so be sure to write and/or draw something too! Let’s hope it goes well. Am I forgetting anything? Anyway, for more information, you can go to Talka’s site at ddiction.org. And again, the booth can be found at ?47b!

And in other news, looks like someone made a ROM hack of the game BurgerTime and changed the sprites to Reimu-Burger-related things. I’ve never played the original game nor the ROM hack, but the fact that someone made one is quite awesome. Here’s the site.

Walfas @ Reitaisai

Well, as announced on ddiction awhile ago, Talka was accepted to Reitaisai awhile ago, and at the event, Yuyuko keychains will be sold (along with some more file folders)! There’ll also be some other things from the western Touhou community sold at the booth as well, since Reitaisai is such a huge event (discussion thread here).

The file folders are also available at three online doujin shops now (but only one, White Canvas, ships internationally). However, Talka has plans to sell them through email requests and paypal sometime in the future as well.

(Didn’t have too much time to make a daily flash today, due to my procrastination involving schoolwork that I should’ve done a week ago)

Walfas T-Shirts?

A few days ago, Sax showed me some images of a Walfas shirt he made (with permission, of course), and I sorta forgot to post about it until just now. Here’s a few more shots. Anyway, this reminded me of how a bunch of other people in the past said they’d like Walfas T-shirts (or Walfas merchandise of some sort). I know some people would definitely be interested in something like this, so I did some reading on T-shirt selling forums about different print-on-demand companies, and thought maybe if I do make Walfas shirts available, I might do it on Zazzle or something.

I signed up for an account, but the question is: what sort of designs would you like to see on Walfas shirts (daily flash, Touhou, whatever else)? There’s also other stuff like posters (I think perhaps the Cirno file folder could work as a poster; or maybe even a poster with all the create.swf characters on it, sorta like Pokemon posters… but not Pokemon), stickers, buttons, mousepads, postcards, etc. I have some ideas but I think it’d be good to see what everyone else thinks as well.

Zazzle also seems to be having a “10% off everything” sale that lasts until the end of Monday, so if I get some suggestions, I might be able to make some designs today (or dig up some pre-existing images) and people can take advantage of that sale. In any case, if I do make a shop, I’ll probably just put a link in the top navigation bar somewhere rather than putting things all over the place saying “BUY SHIRTS NOW” or something.

In other news, Scarlet Square is over, and apparently doujin shops Tora no Ana and D-Stage asked if they could put some file folders in their stores, which is pretty cool.

Anyway, today’s videos post will come later!

Scarlet Square File Folders

Here are some pictures (taken by Talka) of the ?-crew file folders that will be sold at Scarlet Square (See this post for explanation). The front is opaque and the back is partially transparent, and when you put some paper in the folder, you can see the nines and text/logo more clearly! The event is actually tomorrow (since it takes place on the 15th and it’s already the 14th in Japan), so I guess it would make sense to have some pictures of the thing being sold. There’s also some chocolate. It’d probably make more sense to have this blog post in Japanese, since most of the people going to the event will be Japanese, but I guess the pictures make it self-explanatory. So yeah, now we just wait to see how it turns out!
