Scarlet art project

Well, here’s that art project from awhile ago. I actually got it back last Thursday but forgot (or didn’t feel like) posting it. Basically, we had to make some sort of five-panel thing using different elements of art (line, shape, color, texture, space, etc). I used black and white paper, but the heart in the last panel is actually red; I just chose to scan in black and white. It was more intended for people who don’t know what Touhou is, because Sakuya probably wouldn’t be scared of some bats.

If someone could explain what this is, that would be great. I just found it a few minutes ago and have no idea what it’s about or where it’s from (besides Japan). I’m guessing it has something to do with IOSYS since there’s a link to Innocent Key (a site that doesn’t seem to be working at the moment) on this site linked to on IOSYS’s site. Yeah, I don’t really know what I’m talking about either.

Reimu Burger in GTA

Yesterday, kazu linked to this video on IRC, and since I don’t have anything else to update with, I’ll post it here. It’s some GTA mod where Remilia’s the main character (Although most of the video just shows her driving a limo). But the part that caught my interest was at around 12 minutes: It’s Reimu Burger! Awesome! Too bad nothing actually happens in there.

Today’s daily flash is about Touhou, because I couldn’t think of how I could make the flash related to my life, even though it’s Halloween and people had some interesting costumes. Some of the female teachers dressed up as members some sort of biker gang (“Hell’s Teachers”), with printed t-shirts, headbands, leather things and all that stuff! There were other interesting ones but I don’t really feel like explaining. Okay, yeah.

Added Remilia, a spear, an umbrella, some beer mug thing, one of those “to protect peoples’ identities” censor bars over the eyes (even though it’s usually obvious who it is), and a new face. I don’t know why, but I never really felt like drawing Remilia, even though I had bat wings up there (I added new bat wings too) for a very long time.

And I just realized I haven’t done one of those “HERE’S SOME INTERESTING YOUTUBE STUFF” entries in awhile now, so here’s the new Touhou parody by Iori E. I actually understood the reference, and the English accent suddenly made sense!
