Keine EWI + MoF Kamichu!

??????16???????…???????

(Nicovideo)

Keine EWI by Winn! This is relevant to 2009 because… year of the cow! And Keine is associated with cows. Yeah.

??????????

And here are Sanae, Suwako, and Kanako in a parody of the Kamichu! ED. Again, it’s another anime I’ve never watched, so I don’t really know anything about it.

Also, the blog post numbering has been fixed (or so it appears). Judging by the other things I’ve had to change since updating to WordPress 2.7, I’m assuming more problems will arise. Oh well, with every error, I get to learn how to fix it, so that’s a plus. Today I learned some stuff about SQL’s AUTO_INCREMENT… thing.

Also, today’s the last day of winter break, so tomorrow’s back-to-school day, I guess. Oh well, regents (high school standardized tests) begin on the 21st and end on February 2nd, and since I’m a senior, I’ve already taken all the regents I need to take, so that’s about another week of no school. That’s something to look forward to.

A Bunch of Touhou Videos

????????!!(???????)

Oh, the wonders of two-frame animation. What would we ever do without it?

I guess I’ll also include three other videos in this post, since they’re all kinda short. Sort of.

Kanako EWI

(Nicovideo)

Hooray, another EWI video by Winn! This one has Kanako and Suwako in some sort of epic duel. It’s pretty awesome; I think the animation quality is the best out of all the ones so far, although that’s to be expected. Anyway, good job and keep up the good work, Winn!

Art Class: Day 5 (And Suwako Jump)

In the morning class today, we we spent some time learning how to use scratchboards. Scratchboards are pretty cool, except I bought one of those really expensive ones (they were the only ones I could find), so I didn’t really experiment much on it in fear of messing up, especially since I only had one. Then, we watched part of the movie Persepolis. It’s really well-animated and uses black and white effectively. I guess we’ll be finishing the rest of the movie on Monday. Anyway, there’s not much I can actually scan today.

Later on during the afternoon class, we finished making jumping animations. I started on a Suwako jumping animation because it was suggested by someone in the previous blog entry. Then I drew a fancy background with lily pads and water and ripple effects. After we finished with those, we went over walk cycles, and I attempted (and failed) to make a successful walking animation.
