Sakuya Dragging

After stopping time and releasing the books from the Marisa’s giant potato bag, Sakuya proceeds to drag the thief out of the Scarlet Devil Mansion… through a very very large basement. It is very large because… of Sakuya’s space manipulation abilities. Yes, that’s why. I’m not sure why she would enlarge the space and make herself walk farther, but she did, and here it is.

Also, the title of this post would make it seem as if Sakuya is the one being dragged; it would actually be “Sakuya dragging Marisa” but I didn’t do that because that would sorta ruin the title syntax established in the past few related posts.

Sakuya Slash

Sakuya to the rescue with her time-stopping abilities and super-fast-knife-slashing (which may or may not be related to her time-stopping/slowing abilities)! There are a lot more frames in this animation than there were in the other ones, but it was easier to animate because I didn’t have to bother trying to make everything move smoothly; as you can probably tell, the frames are all over the place. Here’s a slower version (3 frames per second as opposed to 24), and here’s a faster version (60 frames per second).

Marisa’s Escape

After gathering enough books, Marisa decides to make her escape! But it turns out that she didn’t quite expect the bag to be so heavy. Also, the bag may be smaller than it is in the previous flash, and this is because… uhh… because that’s just how it is. Also, Marisa’s braid happens to be on the other side… for the same reason.

Marisa Stealing

The books are actually landing in neat piles inside Marisa’s bag. The rate of books-flying-across-the-screen-and-falling-through-the-hole has decreased yet again because of some sort of crazy time slowing thing. Marisa’s bag is expanding slower than it would normally because it is made of some sort of special material. Those are the explanations for this one.

Photoelectric Effect

I really do spend too much time writing these fake newspaper articles. But it’s fun, so that’s fine. Also, if I hadn’t decided to make this daily flash, I would not have looked up the photoelectric effect on Wikipedia and I would not have known that it was discovered by Heinrich Hertz, who has a nifty SI unit named after him.

They probably stopped calling it the Hertz effect because then there would be two things named after him, which we all know can’t ever happen because it’s completely impossible. Or maybe because “photoelectric effect” is a name that actually says something the effect itself, rather than about the person who discovered it. Because it has to do with photons which are part of electromagnetic radiation.
