Well, it’s my birthday today (17). I don’t have much else to post; I haven’t had time to even find a video. Oh well. Sorry about the lack of original content this week, but tomorrow I guess I’ll be updating create.swf again, except I don’t know what character to update with (considering the fact that there aren’t any more characters to choose from except the PC-98 ones).

Agh, what horrible timing. Yesterday I was working on an April Fools’ Day flash which I had intended to post today as soon as I got home from school. Unfortunately, at around 8:30 PM, my computer just randomly shut itself down. I thought “Oh well, no big deal, right? I can just turn it back on.” I was wrong! I tried turning it on, but nothing happened. I tried probably a couple hundred times and then just gave up and went to sleep. My uncle usually comes home at midnight, and he usually fixes things when the computer gets messed up like this.
I got home from school today, and my uncle couldn’t fix it, so now I’m using his Vista laptop (I’m not used to Vista or laptop keyboards) without access to Flash for now. So I guess I won’t be able to make new daily flashes until the computer gets fixed. I guess when it gets fixed, I’ll post the April Fools’ flash I had planned for today, even though it’ll be over already. Unless, of course, if it never gets fixed, which would suck because I had Tewi and Reisen drawn up in Touhou-flash style, and I would’ve been able to use them in another flash if I felt like doing so. Gah. And no, this is not an April Fools’ joke, if that’s what you’re thinking.
Oh well, here’s something that actually is an April Fools’ joke: a video for a really awesome-looking Touhou game that will probably never exist. This is probably old news to some of you, since April Fools’ Day is over in Japan already.
I don’t think there was a puzzle like that in the actual thing. I realized that the flash wasn’t really that funny when I was halfway done making it, but I had come too far to just not finish it. So now, you get to watch a flash about unnecessary mathematical calculations. But anyway, there was a similar question on today’s math quiz, and I decided to use math instead of logic (because you know… it’s a math class), which ended up being a bad idea, because it wasted like five minutes. What’s funny is that the question on the quiz was about tribbles being brought into the school and multiplying until they filled the maximum capacity of the school in an hour and two minutes.
I don’t really have much time to make a daily flash or anything, because I had to go to school for this “college night” thing today, up until 8 o’ clock. And then there’s the fact that my uncle is home and he’s like always in the room, which is really distracting, especially because of the fact that he’s trying to do something with a fax machine and it’s making all these loud noises. And I don’t really do anything on the computer when someone else is possibly watching, because it always feels weird. In fact, I’ve probably alt+tab’d like fifty times when making this post because I don’t want him to notice that I’m writing stuff about him, and he’s like right behind me. Where was I going with this again? Oh yeah, so… no daily flash for today, sorry. I kinda have a lot of stuff due on Friday as well, so I might not have a flash for tomorrow either (unless something really interesting happens and I’m like “I HAVE TO MAKE A FLASH ABOUT THAT”). In other news, I learned a bunch of stuff about the college admissions process today, hooray!
More Reimu Burger in GTA on Nicovideo! I don’t really know what’s going on, but I’m under the impression that it is awesome. There’s also this other video (which comes before it), where Remi goes around doing stuff, including throwing some sort of explosive at another burger restaurant. Anyway, I’ve been working on the next flash, and I’m guessing it’ll be done within the next few days. If for some reason it’s not done by then, I have plenty of time to do it. Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and after that is regents week (exams), and I only have to go to school to take the English regents on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then I get to stay home until next Wednesday. Hooray!
