Updates to Yuyuko flash

Minor update to the flash. Now you can… do the stuff that’s in the image above. I’ve added more things to the burning scene, including something by Wong. Something that should be burned. Yep.

If you’re wondering why I made this a new entry instead of just editing the old one… well, then the post would’ve been a bit too long, and I’d be like “oh no the post is too long” so I would decide to shorten the mainpage thing by putting one of those “CLICK HERE TO READ MORE” things, but then you wouldn’t be able to see that, and that’s bad. :(

Yuyuko likes food

Hooray, I’m done with the Yuyuko flash! So here’s the plot. It’s late at night and Yuyuko is hungry. You can probably tell what it’s gonna be about by looking at the loading screen. Unless you’re not that familiar with Touhou, I mean.

I’ve been working on this since… uhh… let’s see, there was about two hours today, some number of hours yesterday (practically the whole time I was on the computer), and about an hour the night before that. I’ve mostly been spending time on the backgrounds and all that, and I think they look really nice. Compared to the simple backgrounds of the previous ones, anyway. It doesn’t seem as long as I had intended it to be, but I guess that’s fine. There’s an extra at the end, too!

In other news, I’ve also added most of the backgrounds from the Yuyuko flash to “create.swf“, but just the ones that have something that the character can stand on.

I was gonna make a longer flash, but… meh. Maybe I’ll try making a spoof of the original video later. Of course, it wouldn’t be as good. I’m not really good at timing things and syncing them with the song, so yeah. I also added some new backgrounds to “create.swf” (well, they’re not really “new”… they were just taken directly from the Alice flash).

So here are those drawings I was talking about yesterday. They’re not really that good, but I think they’re entertaining (but then of course, I was the one who made them, so I don’t think my opinion counts here). And today is the beginning of a four-day weekend, because of those Jewish holidays. Well I think it’s just one holiday over the course of two days, but I don’t really know.

I’ll probably be making flashes later on this week, or today, because now I’m back on my good computer and I have time to do stuff like that. I kinda have an idea and it seems incredibly hard to do, but I’ll attempt to do it… or at least start on it. It’s somewhat related to the images above (but not the first one). It’ll probably end up being not that good, but whatever.
