Problems

Okay, so a few hours ago I thought I’d have nothing interesting to say because I didn’t expect anything of interest to happen to me today. Apparently I was wrong. First off, when I got into the train station to go to my apartment, I used my student metrocard, and there were some cops nearby, and they were all “YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE THIS WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE SCHOOL, RIGHT?!?” and then they wrote up some sort of ticket… I dunno.

It was pretty bad because it took like ten minutes and a few trains had already passed. And the fact that one ride is only about two dollars. My dad was like “why don’t I just go back and swipe a regular metrocard?” but the police lady was all “NO IT’S TOO LATE NOW.” Sucks. I saw another police officer stop this girl because she used her student metrocard, and all he said was “Just know you’re not supposed to use this when you don’t have school” and let her go. Geez, why did I get stuck with the unforgiving cop? I’ll probably be sentenced to imprisonment followed with death by Yuyuko.

Shameimaru~!

Added Aya and a bunch of stuff (accessory, face, item, back, setting) to create.swf. Y?USEI was also uploaded and translated on Nicovideo.

Another point of interest is this Lucky Star + Touhou crossover, which is quite awesome.

Y⑨USEI

“Yousei” means “fairy” in Japanese… or so I think. Anyway yeah, here is the flash, an Usatei parody. It seems really short now that I think about it. The comic part took the longest to make, because I had to trace stuff and then attempt to sync it correctly and all that. After that, it was pretty easy, but it’s not as action-y as the original flash. But there’s interweb chatting! Yeah! And here it is on YouTube. The video quality sucks, though.

Almost done!

The flash is almost done, but I’ll need some help with the last part. One of the things I need is an mp3 of the “Usatei” song, but not the extended version. I need someone to help me find the short version that’s in the original flash (I think it should be about two minutes long, rather than the full version which is about four minutes). I guess now it’s pretty obvious what the flash will be like, but it’s not exactly a typical Usatei parody. There’s… much less action, and I guess that makes it seem really short. Anyway, I’ll be back later to finish up the flash, and it’ll be done by today (if someone can find the mp3, that is). Yeah.

Perfunctory

  • per·func·to·ry (adj)
  1. performed merely as a routine duty; hasty and superficial: perfunctory courtesy.
  2. lacking interest, care, or enthusiasm; indifferent or apathetic: In his lectures he reveals himself to be merely a perfunctory speaker.

According to dictionary.com, anyway. This blog entry falls under the first definition. I didn’t really have much time to do anything today, what with SAT prep and all. Bleh. No school on Monday, hooray!
