I am uncertain as to how interesting this is because I made this in about 10 minutes. However, I am quite certain that I find it interesting that there is an equation for uncertainty. And here is a Wikipedia page about it. There’s probably an equation somewhere for how uncertain you are about the accuracy of the uncertainty calculated from that equation.

Be forewarned, it’s about as weird as that Murasa PV and about as inappropriate as the recent Hina one.
This isn’t even quantum physics, it’s just basic error analysis for doing ordinary measurements. All the “95% confidence” means is “within range of 2 error bar lengths”. Why? Because 95% is the area covered under a Gaussian (aka Bell) curve if you go out 2 sigma from the centre both ways.
I am am 25% plus or minus 7% thinking that this is quantum physics to a degree of certainty of 79%…
…Heisenberg’s?
@Mushyrulez: Measurement uncertainty!
For what it’s worth, I giggled. |3
You cannot be certain about uncertainty but can you be uncertain about certainty?
I am 99% thinking that this flash is very uncertain is 60%,which add up with that it REALLY is talking about uncertain, the percentage is 99%…
So I pretty much believe this flash 99.999999999999999999999% uncertain….
Cirno,don’t come here
Ahh, science, complicating otherwise simple things.

NOW IS TIME TO BE 75% SURE (PLUS OR MINUS 4.51%) THAT IT IS TIME TO THE 68000 HEART ON FIRE!

I am never more than 95% sure of anything.
Why? I have a 5% margin of Error.
Works perfectly.
after all, it’s proven by science that if you make up a number and state it with certainty, Most people will believe it.
At least it’s proven by me. It’s an awesome fact of life.
Brilliant punchline! Loved it.
92% of the population doesn’t even know what uncertainty is.
@KuroKona: Are you certain about that fact?
65% of statistics are made up on the spot.
I can say with 92% confidence that I will post something on this post related to statistics.
Statistics! D:
AWESOME!
(I think)
I’m unsure if I’m unsure or not.
I’m only 99.9999999% sure I’m all completely helium.
You mind doing Geometric Anomales next time
Because if anyone knows about that 64=65 thing, that’s kinda trippy.
If only science was this fun….i’m 120% sure of it, give or take a few thousand percent
We learned this in Chemistry 11!
(I’m 99.45% +/- 0.55% sure!)
My mind has been blown.
great post as usual!
