Whee … kinda mood-whiplashy, I guess. I’m just over-sensitive …
I loved Nazrin being bribed into working for the group with Cheese (that and being the only one without a personal devotion to Byakuren, making her only non-zealot of the unders), and…of course, SURPRISE!! Poor Kogasa…
My only gripe is…I kinda got the impression at first that Murasa was anchor surfing. Not that riding the bow of the ship isn’t awesome, but…everything’s better with anchors.
Well, that was both sweet and amusing. Poor Kogasa, indeed.
I think this is the longest EWI video we’ve had in a while, too. Of course, it has more characters to cover.
Byakuren: “I want to give a flower to my brother’s tomb.”
Ichirin: “Byakuren tamed my angry cloud companion.”
Murasa: “Byakuren fixed me from my ship wrecking madness.”
Shou: “Byakuren healed me, led me to Bishamonten and somehow gained human form.”
Nazrin: “Byakuren gave me delicious cheese yesterday.”
Kogasa: “Hey! Where is everybody? The end?! Awwwww…”
i thought that was sanae’s grave…
anyways, the ending was great.
Yay! The first half was a little weird… But the second half is absolutely adorable!

@ Project_mars You’re forgetting that danmaku isn’t lethal.
You’re either not a Byakuren fan or have no soul if you don’t get misty-eyed from the flashbacks.

That was great. I can always rely on EWI to actually put danmaku into the video, even if it was that one short scene.
I like his art style; big bold lines and chibi proportions. I’m still a bit weired out how he thinks everyone should be put into a schoolgirl swimsuit, though =/

By the way, I dunno if anyone noticed, but WINN got Kogasa’s eyes wrong. Her right eye is supposed to be blue.

This was a great video. The whole swimsuit thing kind of ruined it for me, though.
Seriously, while they often say ‘less is more’, I think this is a case where more is more. The outfit really didn’t fit the mood at all.

I feel less the effect when the swimsuit is not as clear, like here where it looks like part of her normal clothes.

It kinda irks me they gave Byakuren a large bust here. Still, awesome overall.
I’ve heard the swimsuit thing is more than just fan-service, it’s also to conserve the effort of animating the charas outfit in detail: Look at the other charas, they get like, 1-2 frames of animation each segment. Don’t quote me on that though.
