I am really looking forward to this, but I can’t help but wonder if ZUN actually likes Cirno or if he’s just responding to Cirno’s massive fanbase.
I do hope it’s not just four characters in this game. It would be a shame to waste such amazing potential.

Unlike the Hong Meiling fiasco, I do believe he likes Cirno. She’s appeared in 5 different games, was playable in one game, *and* was used in the description for one game.
Or if he doesn’t like her, he really seems to cave into fan demands easily.
Ya her dress is just poofy. Also I don’t think this is Zun “caving in” to her fan base, it even says on his blog that it has to do with the current mangas that are being made, which have the three mischievous ones as main characters.
I’m really interested to see how the story plays out in this. I am very exited for it.
Me and a friend once practiced our game programming skills by writing a Cirno-centric fangame. Two of them in parrallel, each in our favorite programming language.
