Bad Apple Dub: Eh, sometimes the lyrics don’t scan very well. Low-quality on the audio, too. Good dub, though.
The first one scared me, the second one was cool, didn’t watch the third one, the last one scared me for most of it, then in started making sense in a way, at least untill the repeat of the beginning. Last one, ok I guess.
What’s with people not watching the third one? It was good!

So…we have some “Go go Marisa legs” + a new style of tetris game that will be probably banished to wander the desert forever,if released as a real game.
Also another MoF awesome looking PV with Kanako, who finally realized that the solution to all of life problems is called “Giant Bazooka”!
AND we have some remake of K-ON’s SS OP where only Reisen is dressed properly for school.Way the go school rules.Apart from that…it ain’t bad,but it ain’t a great thing to be happy about.

1. Apparently, not too long ago, the video creator was eating out at a family restaurant, and he kept hearing the group of girls sitting behind him mentioning something that sounded like “ashinagamarisa”. He wondered if he was mishearing something, but if so, he couldn’t figure out what the word/phrase actually was, so he just interpreted it as “ashinaga Marisa” (long-legged Marisa). And so he drew a long-legged Marisa. Well, her legs didn’t seem THAT long in the initial drawing, so…
Anyway, I was mildly amused until about the 1:30 mark, and then I was very amused. I like the punch line, too.
2. “Faith Strike Resurrection” (roughly) Pretty snazzy IOSYS single. Has a somewhat modern-Gundam-theme feel to it, echoed in the storyboarding of the animation.
3. Ah, the MikuMikuDance modeler strikes again, I think. Heh…the characters are all listed by nickname (Armpit-miko, Thief, Suppository, ‘Guya, Milady—whoop, there’s Dai-Oki’s Cirno again…and surprise Yukkuri head! The comparison bonus video’s kinda fun and provides context for someone like me, who’s never seen the original opening before now.
4. Ah, now that’s more the IOSYS sound I know. :-) Interesting visuals and good animation, though the melody only appealed to me during the singing portion.
5. Wow, this sounded a lot better than I expected, to be honest. I’m not sure if that’s Auto-Tune at work, but it sounds similar, and it works for the style of the video. The reworking of the lyrics is nicely done for preserving both meaning and rhythm…and hearing this in English drives home what a DEPRESSING song it is, belying the comparatively lively feel of the vocals and melody. Well, bravo to Cristina!
Video 1: Very weird, but the video was awesome.
Video 2: Enjoyed it, and looksso impressive for a Touhou PV, I could have almost mistaken it for an anime based on Mountain of Faith.
Video 3: That’s very impressive for an Touhou-styled MMD parody based on one of K-ON’s openings, especially when you compare it to the other videos towards the end.
Video 4: It’s not every day you see a video featuring Orange in it, but I got bored of it after a minute or so, and in my opinion it looked like she was drowning at times.
Video 5: Christina Vee did a very good job on singing Bad Apple, and was better than I expected.
