In making this, I realized I have no idea how to draw engines. Especially giant ones that would look like they’d be impossibly efficient. Also, I apologize in advance if anyone is offended by the blatant French stereotypes portrayed in this daily flash.

I expected fire. Now I’m disappointed (´・ω・`)
I mistakenly read that as “Carrot Engine” and hoped Tewi would be involved. Oh well.
Horay nitori!
hey isn’t it pronounced “chi-ru-no”?
⑨ comment!!! Hooray!
Hooray!
(I tried to find hooray in french, but failed)
I heard Tesla supposedly made some machine that was 90%+ efficient. I forgot what exactly it was, though.
@Palom: The same thing happened to me.
Carno is the strongest french car!
Yes, I read carrot as well. What’s up with that?
Hehehe… I lol’d at the alarm clock… almost thought it was a bomb…
Oh… the things you can do with an engine such as the Cirnot engine!
Hah, that’s funny. =) Cirnot is the strongest engine!!
(Off Topic: Touhou fans have spoken! Ufufufuu…)
Oh its not a real engin….
looks like Howl’s Moving Castle lol
Okay, I am surely not the only person who initially thought it was the “carrot engine.”
Carnot engine? Just learned that last semester… heat pumps. There’s something that could theoretically tap into the power of hot springs.
Well, a horribly inefficient engine needs to be that big to power an alarm clock.
Hmm, Gentlemen, i think ill go invent the worlds first Carrot-Engine.
I’m another who read “Carrot Engine”…
“Blatan french stereotypes!”, with mustache and all (hooray!). And Chi-ru-no(-to?) still be ze strongest!.
Cirno Citroen?
I hate you theromodynamics. You are so easy, but require so many tables….the tables, THE TABLES!@.@
@UP:
Hourra!
Lol carrot engi- wait, Carnot? Well, that changes everything…
I did a project once about the Red Scare, there were so many stereotypes in it it wasn’t even funny. Somebody in our group did this super-funky French accent, it was hilarious.
It looks like a giant water slide.
lol the alarm clock, she is working!
I’m just giggling about the Cirnot Engine.
French stereotypes? What could possibly go wrong with that?
Eet eez very efficient
Zat eez a lot of nine involved, ze~
I read the title, and mistook it as “Carrot Engine”, and I was all like “WTF?”, and then a few seconds later, I learned it was “Carnot Engine”.
I am very offended by zis flash! D=<
Cirnot saying “ze” reminded me of Marisa rather than a French person. xD
@FBINInja: Yep, “Cirnot” only works if you don’t know how “Cirno” should be pronounced. xD
@UP
(Hooray!
(I tried to find hooray in french, but failed) )
Hourra !
…
“Cirno” does not have two syllables.
…Yes it does? ‘Chir-no’? You do pronounce o’s. You might be thinking of silent u’s.
^ unless you do mean 3 syllables, like chi-ru-no, but we westerners pronounce it much too fast. Also its been mentioned like 50 times by now.
Yeah, but that ruins the joke.
Pronoucing Cirno “chi-ru-no” made me say carnot “ka-ru-no” XD
I also read it as carrot at first.
I pronounce it “cheer-no”
I lol’d.
Do someone here have a problem with french peoples? I’m ready to get rid… i mean to convince them that portrayals aren’t all true.
For exemple, frog aren’t eaten in France.
So, COME BACK, my lovely Suwako! Don’t leave me!!
Oh, and btw, I have habit to pronounce as “Sirno”, because “Kirno” don’t convince me a lot.
