@dyzzy: Actually, that depends on the accent in which it’s spoken. Here in Britain, Faraday’s birthplace, it would be pronounced more like “fa/rerd”, with the “a” sound the same as in “had”. “Ferret” is pronounced more like “fe/rit” (although regional accents might be different). Lol, such lifeless discussions I always manage to get myself into. I really don’t mean to… ><;;
