Anyway, the reason for this daily flash is that today in school, we had a guest speaker from the tax preparation company H&R Block who came in and taught us about filing income taxes (in addition to advertising the company), since we would have to do it eventually. I learned a lot more than I knew before (I knew almost nothing about taxes), but I also learned that filling out those tax forms in the future won’t be very fun at all. But then we got free H&R Block post-its, pamphlets, and pens, which I guess is pretty cool. But not really.

Oh look it’s back.
TurboTax online at least makes filing relatively easy (if one’s investments and income aren’t too complicated), if not fun. The down side is that you still have to do some detail work if you want to itemize stuff, even if your income isn’t that complicated.
As for sites going down for maintenance, maybe it’s to prevent April Fool’s day hackers having too much fun…or to set up April Fool’s Day jokes, one of the two.

I totally saw the extra ending coming, but it’s still hilarious.
Taxes are fun when you get back tons of money by itemizing strange things, like tissues from when having a cold on the job and a new pair of shoes to walk to work in :D It’s like a game, because you can do so many things before you get audited… You just have to find that fine line, and you get massive bonus points in the form of dollars!
