I guess this could be considered a follow-up to the total internal reflection flash because fiber optics uses it to send information. Yes, the beginning is some more educational stuff! Click here if you would like to learn more about how fiber optic cables actually work! It’s interesting! Also, in the end, Long-Haired character is actually flickering that flashlight a billion times per second, but we just can’t see it because it’s so fast. Well, either that or she’s not really doing any flickering at all. You decide!
I should try to make my own internet cable!!
Wait, I have made my own CAT5e cable, its not that difficult. p_p
Though all I did was cut the length, and then crimp the connectors, did not actually build it from raw materials… q_q;
Long-Haired Character would have a look of extreme concentration if she was flickering it that fast… and I mean EXTREME… but it’s funny to think about anyway
The reflection used in fiber optics is referred to as “modal dispersion.” It’s actually low grade fiber optic cables that do this, and it reduces the length at which a fiber optic cable is effective.
The high grade cables send single “straight” beams of light. They’re harder to make, but have a higher effective length and also travel much faster.
@KirbyM: Her spark is probably bright enough to be seen by (and destroy?) the receiving device without needing any fiber-optic cables to carry the light.
Bored-Looking Character is unable to appear easilly in class becouse of perfectly normal reasons.
Bored-Looking Character is not busy with a secret mission involving or not government conspirations.
These conspirations, which do not exist, do not involve Yuyuko in any form.
First~
I thought it would work the last time
Heh…that look of blankly happy expectation makes me grin.
I was half-expecting a Rumia joke at the end, but maybe you’ve just spoiled us.

IT’S NOT WORKING, GO FASTER! LIKE, BILLIONS PER SECOND FASTER!
These flashes about fiber optics and total internal reflection are probably teaching me more than most of my classes combined are. :l
The first thing I thought was blinking Master Spark, then the internet thing appeared.
Does this mean that if Marisa used a flickering Master Spark, she’d get internet connection?
@Imperishable Fairy: Well, it’d probably end up destroying the fiber optic cables or something…
She would destroy the cable.. but I bet it would be fun!
Yay fiber-optics! XD
Also, a completely unrelated installment of Scarlet Weather Archive. ^^
*a wild Marisa appears*
Marisa: Don’t worry I’m here to help!
*charges her lazars*
Marisa: MASTER SPARK!!!!!!!!
too bad she cant control her powers D:”
lmao
Kirby you so funneh
This one was very funny. ^^
Well that was kind of… moe.

Networking class for the win! :3
Brilliant, especially because I – as of lately – am working with fiber optical cables and.. well.. I really love our Lasercannons.
Lasercannons flicker the best.
Have you heard about… the FIBER?!
I was hoping Marisa T-T
@Fubu72: Yes, youngster, it was moe XD
@Supakitsune: Now I know about the [FIBER] XD
@KirbyM: Her spark is probably bright enough to be seen by (and destroy?) the receiving device without needing any fiber-optic cables to carry the light.
Oh, Long Haired character.. you’re too slow!
That said, WHAT THE REFLOWERING OF GENSOKYO HAPPENED TO BORED-LOOKING-CHARACTER?! I ASK-NAY, DEMAND HIS REAPPEARANCE!
@Goldreaver: Uhh…His?
Goldreaver- It’s a GIRL.
@Tesmy; Mariku: I know, ’twas a typo. Too bad there’s no edit function…
Still, my point stands; BRING HER BACK!

Maybe they needed a hollow paper tube-ethernet transceiver =D
I forgot to ask this, but when is your Spring Break KirbyM?
if you don’t mind me asking that is..
Is that so~?
