Open windows

It kinda makes sense, I guess. I dunno, I probably could’ve gone a lot of different ways with this, what with ninjas coming into the classroom and whatnot. Oh well. This actually happened, actually… besides the whole “turning into a ?” thing. But luckily, I had my jacket with me! It was still kinda cold though. And when someone said “you know, it’s illegal to have the window open more than nine inches, because someone could just jump out,” all I could think about was ? and how Cirno would probably jump out the window (and then forget that she could fly). Well, I didn’t really think of the second part of that at the time, but I’m thinking it now.

Tomorrow’s Friday, hooray! I kinda have an idea for the next flash… sort of. But I don’t know where it would go, like how it’d end and whatnot. We’ll see when I try to make it, I guess. I usually get some random ideas the night before I decide to make flashes. I don’t really get any ideas when I’m trying hard to think of them, but they come naturally when I’m not really thinking about them that much. That ReimuBurger flash was actually some random idea I got when I went to bed on Saturday.

SAT prep (RTFQ)

I went to the SAT prep thing today, at 3:30. I got out at 1:30, so I had two hours to do stuff. I ended up going to the art room and finishing some of the stuff I haven’t finished, and then I went to the auditorium and sat there watching people do things. SAT prep started, I went to the room, and got two really huge books (one of them was like, some book with 11 practice SAT exams, and the other one was like… the thing they use to teach).

It’s not as boring as I thought it’d be. The guy teaching it has a nice sense of humor, always making jokes and whatnot. The thing in the flash actually happened, and everyone was like “wow you’re stupid” and the teacher dude was like “It stands for… fill in the blank. Read the fill in the blank question.” Quite lulz. If there were stand-up comedians who did things about SATs, I think this guy would probably be one.

I got my practice SAT (the one I did on Saturday) back, and I got either an 1860 or a 1932. I’m saying “or” because I’m not sure whether I should include “grammar” and “essay” in the total score, or if they’re part of the writing score. I think it is, so I probably got a 1860. 660 in math, 590 in reading, 610 in writing (64 in grammar and 8 out of 12 in essay). Way better than I thought I’d get, especially for the essay. I didn’t even get to finish it! Pretty awesome.

Yeah, I guess that’s it. Oh right, and just as a very unimportant note, one of my books of graph paper ran out of… graph paper, and so I took off the… ah it’s kinda hard to explain. But I took the spine thing out and it was pretty cool. Carried it around with me all day. Then I got a deck of cards (well, 35 cards found scattered across the auditorium) and started putting them in there. It was cool.

Modern art

Based on a partial discussion about modern art and how much it sucks. There’s some Touhou-related stuff in there too. In other news, we had another fire drill today (that’s like, five or six already), but it wasn’t during third-period pre-calc like it usually was! It was during seventh period inquiry (we have this class called “Junior Inquiry”; I’m not really sure what it’s about, but apparently we’ll be learning how to write one of those really long papers… a thesis or whatever). Yeah. I also could’ve made a flash about how people look for symbolism in written works, but that wouldn’t have been as interesting.

Dragon Ball Z

Based loosely on an actual conversation about Dragon Ball Z. I was actually going to make something like this awhile ago, but now it’s actually relevant. Hooray!

Uninteresting

Today was pretty much uninteresting. We had a physics test… or quiz. And that’s basically it. The flash is a lot more interesting than today actually was.
