If you’ve read a math textbook, you probably know what they’re talking about here. Stuff like “Bob throws a coin off a bridge and notices that the coin’s path is a parabolic shape similar to that of the equation y = x² + 2x +4” just make me go “who really does that in real life?” It just seems silly that a person would be able to come up with an equation for something as obscure as the number of squirrels seen within the course of a week.
We chose classes today. Hooray! I kinda already knew what I wanted to take beforehand, but I didn’t expect other people to take so long. I think I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for everyone else to finish picking before it was my turn.
Based on a conversation today that did not necessarily start off like this. I thought it was a pretty funny idea, so I made it into a flash. In other news, I’ll be playing Mabinogi under the name Kirbster (I got the name as I had expected) on the Mari server.
Specifically, the variable P. That letter was said so many times today in physics, and I’m surprised that I didn’t actually need to go to the bathroom in the middle of class. In other [very important] news, Mabinogi open beta starts in about an hour! I plan on getting the name Kirbster, so if any of you plan on playing as well, that’s the name I’ll be on. Unless it’s taken, of course, but I kinda doubt that.
