If I made a post in 10 minutes, would it count as a post made on the 29th? I’m not going to take that chance. Here is a post for now, which I will edit later with some other stuff once I finish my homework. Well, earlier today I took a stroll down memory lane (I think that’s the last time I’m gonna use that phrase), by browsing some of my old artwork from an oekaki board from less than a year ago. In other news, tomorrow is Sports Day at my school, and since it’s in the morning, I get to miss four classes! And then I have two free periods and then one last class at 8th period. Hooray! I think I was going to… oh right, that’s what it was. I was going to say “I think I was going to say something but I don’t remember what it was” but then I remembered… and… I don’t know why I had to tell you that.
Today in art class, I painted three parts of longcat on three separate sheets of paper and then connected them. It was awesome. Things like this make me wish I had something that can take photos, like a camera or a phone with one or something. But I don’t. Which sucks. Although even if I did have one, I probably wouldn’t use it much, except for rare situations like this.
Someone in my class actually knew what longcat was. We all put our projects up, and he was like “That’s longcat! Who made longcat?” I was surprised that anyone in my grade knew about longcat or internet memes in general. Yeah then we started talking about 4chan and stuff. It was interesting. Kinda strange, though. Yeah that’s it.
Based on a partial discussion about modern art and how much it sucks. There’s some Touhou-related stuff in there too. In other news, we had another fire drill today (that’s like, five or six already), but it wasn’t during third-period pre-calc like it usually was! It was during seventh period inquiry (we have this class called “Junior Inquiry”; I’m not really sure what it’s about, but apparently we’ll be learning how to write one of those really long papers… a thesis or whatever). Yeah. I also could’ve made a flash about how people look for symbolism in written works, but that wouldn’t have been as interesting.
