For the purposes of today’s flash, pretend that Unnamed Character and Long-Haired Character are both male (Oh yeah, and Yuyuko too). Anyhow, this is act I of Hamlet, acted out by daily flash characters. If you’ve never read Hamlet and don’t mind inaccuracy and spoilers, now you can know what the first act is about! If you have read Hamlet, you can make fun of how badly I messed the scenes up! I may as well make this an ongoing daily flash thing and add acts whenever I fail to come up with any ideas for the day.
@ukki: Nah, we finished it like a month ago. But yesterday in class, groups started acting out their scenes, and my group went today, which is why I made this.
I was gonna make a Hamlet flash a long time ago, but I thought I might as well wait until we finished reading and performing it.
Yeah, that whole “NOW I’M GONNA PRETEND I AM INSANE SO NO ONE WILL SUSPECT ANYTHING!” idea…
Never Works.
Damn, this is a good flash. I wonder what you will do for the famous “To Be or Not To Be” solique. Or the “Alas Horatio” part.
Hamlet was pretty good, then again: Most Shakespear is.
Idk why exactly, but my favorite part is Polonius’s death. I mean, come on… The guy not only talked too much while alive, but when getting stabbed to death by a sword he has enough time and composure to exclaim that he is dead?! Rather Absurd, and moderately amusing.
… Why do I have a feeling a lot of people are expecting death sentence Yuyuko to pretty much end the flash series? I mean, everyone who’s seen or read Hamlet (which i think might be just about everyone here) knows it would fit with the ending…
Perhaps as an alternate ending, neh?
LOVED it. Read Hamlet and am enjoying it being acted out by unnamed character and co. Ophelia scene transfered over remarkably well.
Best flash in a while!
If Eternal Darkness taught me anything, it’s that no matter how cute the ghost is, they will always drive you insane. Thus resulting in your save files being deleted.
Are you trying out a slightly different art style now or something, KirbyM? The eyes in the previous flash and the several “nyoro~n”-style faces in this one… I like them a lot. ^^
Ahahaha, I showed this to my English teacher (last day of school, hooray!) and she laughed really hard, especially since we finished Hamlet a month ago. Good job.
Now do The Tempest so I don’t have to read it over the summer. >.>
I think most people know what central park is…Or do they? I don’t really discuss it with people out of New York, but I think it’s pretty famous…
Anyway, I loved how you included the fishmonger part, because anyone who didn’t read Hamlet would have no idea what you were talking about. Also, you probably should’ve had Rosencrants and Guildenstern finishing each other’s sentences. That was the best part about them. Just a suggestion!
first
educational stuff!
Spoiler: Hamlet dies
This is very awesome!
*claps*
Epic. Not looking forward to everyone dying though.
Hooray!
Indeed. Yuyuko is cute. :3
She’s the cutest character in IaMP *and* PCB X3
I have this gut feeling that’s telling me that you just started Hamlet or finished it…
Hah. “Swear” on the sword.
I see what you did there.

I would’ve found this much more epic had I read the story myself.
very… interesting
This flash… is the best flash ever.

I never read Hamlet, but I laughed regardless. I can’t wait to see what you do with the skull scene.
Ahh, that was so epically dramatic
