Atwood Machines

Unnamed Character’s last line is basically the summary for this flash. In other news, I got Disgaea DS yesterday and it’s awesome, but I don’t actually have too much time to play it, which isn’t so awesome.

  • I agree…
Looks kinda like a block and tackle of some sort.

  • But it is awesome! It’s a block with an @, and it has wood! And seems to do somethin’ with da forces!

    Actually she’s right, it isn’t.

  • Atwoods Machines (And its devilish incarnation: The Double Atwoods Machines) were some of the biggest pains in my Mechanics class. D:

  • Aww hellz yeah, a Disgaea fan.
    You are my hero, KirbM.

Shame the DS version isn’t so great. At least Disgaea 3 makes up for it. WHOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I have no DS, or PS3 (and my PS2 is broken) :x

  • My friend lent me his PSP for 2 weeks for my birthday. what a friend. lol :D
It’s got disgaea, but I haven’t touched it because I’m trying to get better at DJMAX2 portable. Is Disgaea good? :o

  • @Squidgy: Good? It’d beyond that. Once you experience its brilliance, you will be in a euphoric state, much like being high.

  • Disgaea is unbelievable. I love it.

  • I thought the “wood” resembled Miku’s negi at first glance. =D

  • @wood? a box with an “@” and a wood?
    That’s not interesting…

Leaving the jokes, I lol’d because it’s true.

  • BUT ATWOOD MACHINES ARE AWESOME!
did you get to find the acceleration of gravity?

  • Oh God, Atwood Machines.

    And indeed, they aren’t interesting.

  • Remember, if you aren’t lvl 100 by chapter 5, you’re boring in disgaea….in other words you play fair.

At least the game is much more challenging than Soul Nomad, You could easily overpower the entire story mode by lvl 3.

  • I level-ground to smithereens in order to deal with the “enemy boost x 6” at the end of Hero’s Will, Overlord’s Way. And then I discovered I was rather … evenly matched, right up until the last chapter …

And then my PS2 broked. :x

    Must suck.

Disgaea 3 is pretty good/awesome. Have Disgaea DS on RoM but never tried it, I do own a DS anyways.

  • My e-mail address? Why, it’s [email protected]. *shot*

Never played Disgaea. Maaaaan, it sounds like fun. I might get it but Kirby Super Star Ultra just came out and I haven’t gotten that yet…

  • Woooo Disgaea.

    …Prinny Baal D:

    Woooo Disgaea 2.

    …Treasure Maps D:

  • I once had an idea for a Batman story in which the Penguin gets killed and go to hell. He comes back with PRINNIES! “DOOD!” The remainder of the plot is spent bringing him back to life (instead of merely being undead).

  • man… i have Disgaea 2: Hours of Darkness but my uncle won’t let me play it ’cause he says its too special for me. (nice log btw, :D)

  • Combining abilities is the greatest idea ever.

I still haven’t had time to finish Disgaea 3. And I’m on the final chapter. GAAAH

  • Poor fisik guys with strange last name, that any person remember. Sorry for my english.

  • Disgaea’s quite the timesink, especially if you want to beat the extra bosses… still need to do that, I do…

  • Psst. Everyone, if I just started playing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, I’m only on Chapter 2, and I can only play on the weekends (when I’m at home), should I just drop it and start over with Disgaea DS?

  • Wow, Disgaea is amazing. I fucking love this game so much :D
Why didn’t anyone tell me EARLIER ARGHHH!!!

  • By the way, I recently started playing Disgaea DS myself. It’s pretty awesome, if I do say so myself, although Porkmeiser destroyed me maybe nine times before I even had a chance of winning. That time I won, it was mostly because he happened to be weak to Ice that time around and I had a Blue Mage (Cirno lol) who knew Mega Ice.

I also picked up a Star Mage named Marisa, Star Mages are okay but mine seems to fall apart within the first few rounds a the battle. It’s a drag, dood.

The script in Etna Mode is just hilarious, by the way. Half the script in Episode Two consists mostly of “I didn’t know Etna was a Space Detective!” and variations of said phrase.

  • Woah, did I really get Disgaea DS all the way back in September? Doesn’t seem like that long ago. I’d still be playing and pointlessly leveling items in item world if it weren’t for the fact that I don’t feel like recharging my DS.

  • And I don’t know what I am doing back here. In the past.

And I’m like “WHOA” because I got Disgaea DS as well like… one month ago? And haven’t beaten it even once because I keep… well, not playing it. And because like KirbyM, keep leveling up items because I’m all like “OH MAN! LOOK AT THOSE SPECIALISTS IN THAT LEGEND WEAPON! LOOK AT THEM!”. Why is that place so addictive? Throwing around all your allies to get to the exit and just fight the Item general/king/etc. I can’t understand it.

OH MAN! Why didn’t I think of that? Gotta change my Star Mage’s name to Marisa. And I wonder if I should change my Nekomata’s name to Chen. But then she would need to have Ran as her Mentor and Ran would need to have Yukari as her Mentor.

OH YES, Overpowered level 79 Laharl with a weapon(s) that increases his attack to 2000 when everybody else max level is about 50 because he’s that awesome. And still, that Prinny God was a hell to beat. Magically, in my first try. Yeah.
