Unnamed Character what

Agh, time management is difficult. I really should work on that more. I got home at 8:20ish and it seems like 3 hours passes by so quickly (Well, one of those hours is shower + dinner etc)! I just looked at the clock recently and realized it was almost midnight, so here’s Unnamed Character doing whatever she’s doing because I didn’t know what else to make in such a short amount of time (that seems to be happening quite a lot recently).

Well in any case, I guess they’re filming parts of the TV show Ugly Betty at our school now for some reason (I don’t know when they stop filming). They had camera equipment, props, and really bright giant lights set up all over the place… was kinda inconvenient because parts of the school were inaccessible, and people were constantly telling us to be quiet or to take an alternate route to class to stay out of the shot. I’d probably be excited if I watched the show, but I don’t, so yeah. I guess that’s worth mentioning.

Edit: Oh yeah, just remembered… it sorta reminds me of this daily flash about filming. I didn’t really watch Law and Order back then, but I do now.

Public Speaking

So we had something like this today, except without such harsh criticism! I am not very good at public speaking because often I forget what I’m supposed to say, or I know what to say but don’t know how to put it into words. And that is all. The workshop went from 6:15PM all the way to 8:20ish though.

Political Attack Ads

Somehow I feel like I already made a daily flash about this… but maybe I didn’t; who knows! Anyhow, attack ad campaigns kinda just make the person look desperate… I guess. I don’t know. However, they do work sometimes. Seeing some of these ads has convinced me that this one candidate is a jerk, even though I don’t know anything about his political stuff. Probably because I don’t follow politics at all. Oh, and also, I fail at coming up with fictional names and didn’t feel like using a name generator.

Meaningless Conversations

Because not every conversation has to be an interesting one. These sorts of conversations aren’t really completely meaningless, I guess, but I wanted to name it “uninteresting conversations” but the filename “uninteresting.swf” was already taken (hah, remember when daily flashes were actually based on my actual life?). For all the interesting conversations people have, they have a ton of conversations like these in between, and I guess that applies to the daily flash characters too! Despite the fact that this is probably one of the most uninteresting daily flashes ever, I kinda like it in that way. Hmm. Oh well.

Busking

Busking, according to dictionary.com, means “to play music or perform entertainment in a public place, usually while soliciting money,” and is not intentionally related to being the king of a bus. Before today, I didn’t even know there was a word for it, and I sorta just called it “performing in a public place for money”, so I have learned something new today! Anyhow, yeah, it’s always awkward when someone comes into a subway car to perform or just beg for money and nobody wants to give money to them. You can’t make eye contact with them or reach into your pocket to get something, because that’d just give them false hope. And that’s bad.
