Government Initiative Names

I enjoy writing these fake newspaper articles way too much, especially coming up with the acronym for this one. Yeah! (Or perhaps I should say “yeaaaaaaaaaaah!”)

Daily Flash #200

Here we are! Daily flash #200! I guess it isn’t technically in the traditional daily flash format, but I thought I had to do something that wasn’t simply copying/pasting random scenes from older daily flashes and changing some of the words, so I decided to make this!

Animal Rights

Based on a very small part of this New York Times article about animal rights (the article mentions nothing of giving animals the right to vote or run for president, though) that we had to read in class last week. This isn’t in response to Obama’s inauguration or anything, though, but I guess it does connect. Anyway, I had more to write but I forgot. Oh well.

Misc. Animation Stuff

Here’s this flash with Headphones Character and Long-Haired Character. I’ll probably add Bored-Looking Character and Teacher eventually as well. Maybe with some music and flashing lights, except I sorta fail at finding music.

And here’s the flash from the summer course I took, but with some new camera techniques (click the link to watch the original version without the fancy camera stuff). Except it’s not actually a camera because I’m not really filming anything, but you know what I mean. I made this because recently I decided to see if there was some way to move the visible area around like a camera instead of moving the entire background around the stage like I usually do, and I found something on the internet and decided to test it out. I chose to use this flash because it probably has the most action out of all the stuff I’ve ever made. Yeah.

Nascar Racing

Races would probably be much more interesting if the tracks weren’t just… ovals. Well they’re not exactly ovals, but close enough. Or maybe if they had boxes on the track with power-ups and items in them. And places where you can instantaneously boost your speed by driving over something. Looking back, I feel like that would’ve made for a much more interesting daily flash. By the way, something does happen if you decide to wait for the guy to go through 500 laps (assuming I did it correctly). It’s not really worth it, though.

In any case, while I’m on the subject of Nascar racing, I might as well post this satirical video from The Onion, which I think is hilarious.
