Create.swf – Nitori (Revised)

Added a revised version of Nitori to create.swf! Actually, I guess the original version wasn’t so bad either… but anyway, added the following as objects: Iku dance pose (one arm raised), Sakuya throwing, Lightsabers (green and red), and a cake. Also added a plain red dress under the “body” category, and a pink bow as an accessory. Some objects have been renamed so that they’re grouped with the rest of the bullets in the objects list (ice shard, knife, and Yukari’s dagger bullet thing). And I believe that is all.

Autumn theme

Just upgraded the site to the latest version of WordPress, after hearing news about some sort of security issue with older versions. After updating, the K2 theme got all messed up (things usually get messed up when I update to new versions of things), so I reinstalled it and figured I might as well start on an autumn theme. I don’t think autumn has technically started yet, but hey, why not. If you’re still getting the old background image, try a hard refresh (ctrl+F5).

In any case, with WordPress upgrades, there may be problems that I don’t notice, so if you see anything unusual errors or weird things going on, you can post about it here. This week’s create.swf update will come later today, as usual.

Busking

Busking, according to dictionary.com, means “to play music or perform entertainment in a public place, usually while soliciting money,” and is not intentionally related to being the king of a bus. Before today, I didn’t even know there was a word for it, and I sorta just called it “performing in a public place for money”, so I have learned something new today! Anyhow, yeah, it’s always awkward when someone comes into a subway car to perform or just beg for money and nobody wants to give money to them. You can’t make eye contact with them or reach into your pocket to get something, because that’d just give them false hope. And that’s bad.

Cruises

So here’s an obligatory daily flash about cruises. Since I was on one yesterday. It’s kinda boring though (just like an actual cruise)! Anyway, in unrelated (but actually somewhat related) news, today was the last day of college orientation and we had a 30-minute diagnostic essay-writing thing. Apparently it’s to assess where each of us are as writers, and doesn’t actually affect our grades at all. And once that was over, we got to leave! Actual classes start next Tuesday, but I don’t have classes on Tuesday, so I get to go back on Wednesday (which I guess is Cirno Day)! Now I have five days of no classes! Five! That’s almost… yeah.

Oh wait, I just remembered! It was weird… last night when I was lying in bed trying to sleep, somehow I felt as if the room was rocking back and forth like the boat was earlier. It was weird. Very weird.

College Orientation Cruise

Only after I got home and looked at the pictures did I realize that “Circle Line” sounds much like “Circle Nine.” But anyhow, today after an English class, as part of college orientation, the new students all went on a three-hour cruise that went from 6PM to 9PM.
