Buying Used Stuff

I don’t really buy used stuff that often, and my reasoning is similar to Headphones Character’s. The only times I can remember buying something used would be for books that aren’t available at libraries (such as textbooks).

Though recently I bought a used textbook online and it had the name of a library imprinted on the pages and some numbered labels on the spine, with some poorly-ripped labels on the back, leading me to believe it was stolen from a library. But the library is all the way in another state, and I don’t feel like doing anything about it, especially since I (well, actually my parents) already paid for it and it’s from so far away. So yeah, be cautious when buying used stuff.

Pricing

They’d probably never make it as blatantly obvious as this, but they’d do it secretly, with additional costs for shipping and handling or taxes or something. Although I’ve never actually bought anything from one of those “CALL NOW AND BUY THIS PRODUCT WITHIN THE NEXT TWENTY MINUTES” commercials, so I don’t actually know how they handle things.

Oh yeah, and here’s a new flash game from Chibitami, starring Flandre.

Viruses

Viruses are not awesome. This computer (my uncle’s) really needs to get fixed… or replaced. It’s been reformatted about fifteen times already, and stuff keeps going wrong: it’s always either too slow or it has a virus that affects a third of the exe files on the computer. Well, the virus only affects programs that I don’t really use (or ones that can easily be reinstalled), so it’s not too bad.

Dr.YAGOKORO

Well, since I don’t have anything to write about today, here is a new flash by Chibitami. It’s like Dr. Mario, except you move the viruses around… and the viruses are immortal, so the game doesn’t ever end. Click the viruses to move them around and click the pills to rotate them horizontally. Line up (vertically) a combination of two or more pills of matching color and a virus of that same color to eliminate the pills and get points. It’s entertaining, and the looping music is awesome as well. In other news, tomorrow is Thanksgiving… in America! Yeah.
