Newspapers

Well, this one turned out way differently than what I had originally planned. The newspaper in here is a reference to AM New York, a free newspaper that they hand out around subway stations in the morning. Since it’s free, they get their money from advertising, and there are a ton of ads all over the newspaper. Most people just take a newspaper from whoever is passing them out, and then throw it away when they get to the nearest trash can. Last year when I used to go to school at a normal time (as in “not zero-period gym”), I’d often see these newspapers littered all over the sidewalk/street floor, on stairs, on subway seats, and especially around the trash can right outside the subway station entrance. Uhh… where was I going with this again? I have no idea. Oh yeah, we also took our senior portraits today. The waiting took forever.

Anyway, added Collateral Damage Studios to the links on the right. It has artwork and stuff. Yeah!

東方 in the walfas

Someone on Nicovideo made a Walfas MAD with a bunch of stuff from the various flashes on the site. It uses a lot of cool camera effects. And it’s awesome. Anyway, I tried uploading it to YouTube but the audio failed to sync, so it’s just on Nicovideo for now. Here’s the video on YouTube.

In other news, the weekly create.swf update will come later today (or probably after midnight, eastern time).

Yeah, no school today! Well, today is pretty much over, but you know what I mean. No school tomorrow either. Anyhow, changed the site theme to something autumn-ish. Here‘s the original image (I have no idea where it’s from; I have it on my computer from like two years ago). You may have to ctrl+F5 to get the background to look right, though.

Actually, instead of editing yesterday’s post, I’ll just post this here and make another post later today. Yeah, couldn’t get this up yesterday because when I finished, there were some problems with the site and I couldn’t upload it. And it was getting pretty late so I thought I’d just make a filler post. I was getting worried that I’d actually miss a day of posting, which would have been the first time ever, but I didn’t. So hooray for that, even though yesterday’s post probably didn’t make any sense until just now.

Anyhow, here’s this. The first thing I thought when I saw those percent-increase statistics, I thought it sounded sorta like stats in an RPG. And that’s basically it. Anyhow, it’s almost time for me to go to school now. This is probably the earliest I’ve ever posted on here (8:15AM).
