Beowulf (Part I)

It’s Beowulf! No, not the movie, the epic poem. We watched part of the movie in class, and it’s horribly inaccurate (although I guess this version won’t be too accurate either). And not that good. Anyway, this is going to be sort of like the Hamlet flashes from awhile ago, except not Hamlet. Since “Beowulf” is actually just one super-long poem, it doesn’t actually have acts and scenes, so the parts where I decide to stop will be somewhat arbitrary. This first one is actually before Beowulf actually arrives, so I guess it’s sorta like an intro. Like the Hamlet flashes, don’t expect this to be too textually-accurate either. I mean, really.

Summer Assignments

I don’t think I’ve ever done a summer assignment near the beginning of summer vacation; I always do it like two weeks before school starts (Also see procrastination). Also, my mom bought a keyboard (piano keyboard, not computer keyboard) on Friday, and since then, I’ve been learning piano-related stuff from the internet. Hooray for the internet!

Hamlet (Act V)

AAAAAAAAGH!

Hamlet (Act IV)

Here’s act IV of Hamlet! Making this one didn’t take as long, for some reason. Probably because I reused a lot of frames. Anyway, there’s only one act after this, so next time it’s the finale!

Hamlet (Act III)

Well, here’s act III of Hamlet. It would have been done about two hours ago, but I had to go somewhere in the middle of making it, and then subway got stuck in the train station for like ten minutes for some unexplained reason. And then the train got really crowded after a few stops because of that ten-minute delay. Oh well.

Anyhow, today’s trip to Central Park was pretty bad. When we got there, after about fifteen minutes, it started raining a lot, and we were all like “oh noes it’s raining!” People started leaving randomly because they got permission from their parents. My friends and I stayed, but the weather just kept changing from sunny to rainy and rainy to sunny, and it was really annoying. It was quite bleh.
