End of Summer

Agh, August is just about over (or maybe it’s already over depending on what timezone you’re in). Every summer vacation, I always get a sense that I didn’t really do anything interesting, even if I actually did. There’s always the feeling that summer vacation is too short, and when it’s about to end, you go “What? It’s ending already?” regardless of whether or not you did anything interesting. If you spend your summer doing interesting things, you won’t want the fun to end, and if you spend your summer doing nothing, you want the vacation to be longer so that you’ll have more time to spend not doing anything. Interesting how that works out. Well anyhow, college orientation starts tomorrow, so my summer vacation is over today! And for the people who still have time to waste before they have to go back do doing stuff… I envy you!

Oh yeah, and I couldn’t think of anything easy-to-draw interesting thing to do besides hang-gliding, so Headphones Character’s memories may be a bit lacking in interestingness. But be assured that she had fun.

Board Games

Board games! Perfect for when you’re bored! Sometimes they’re kinda boring though.

Meteor Showers

So yeah, a daily flash! About meteor showers! I’m pretty sure I had a better idea for the ending but I suddenly forgot it so I just kinda made up stuff. It was not regarding danmaku, though. Or maybe this was my original idea and it just seemed great at the time and then after I finished I realized it wasn’t as great as it first seemed to be, so I was led to think I started with another idea. Well, whatever it is, here it is.

Summer Assignments

I don’t think I’ve ever done a summer assignment near the beginning of summer vacation; I always do it like two weeks before school starts (Also see procrastination). Also, my mom bought a keyboard (piano keyboard, not computer keyboard) on Friday, and since then, I’ve been learning piano-related stuff from the internet. Hooray for the internet!

Fishing

I remember one time when I was little, my uncle and cousins and I went to the beach for crab fishing or something. We had this metal cage and we put chicken inside and lowered it into the water, but we never actually caught any crabs. And while we walked away in failure, this one random guy commented “Hey, you caught a chicken! Nice!” Just one of those things I’ll probably remember for the rest of my life.
