Courtroom Shows

If there existed a Judge Sikieiki Yamaxanadu show, I would watch it.

Carnot Engine

In making this, I realized I have no idea how to draw engines. Especially giant ones that would look like they’d be impossibly efficient. Also, I apologize in advance if anyone is offended by the blatant French stereotypes portrayed in this daily flash.

Animal Rights

Based on a very small part of this New York Times article about animal rights (the article mentions nothing of giving animals the right to vote or run for president, though) that we had to read in class last week. This isn’t in response to Obama’s inauguration or anything, though, but I guess it does connect. Anyway, I had more to write but I forgot. Oh well.

Math Jokes (2)

When our calculus teacher actually told us this joke today, people actually did start laughing when she said they were walking down the street, which is what inspired Unnamed Character’s reactions throughout the daily flash. Except she actually understands the joke, contrary to what actually happened with some people. A lot of people in the class didn’t seem to get it at first, although they laughed at the earlier parts that weren’t really supposed to be funny. It was probably sarcastic laughter though; I know I was laughing sarcastically throughout, and then when she got to the punchline, I actually did think it was funny. Also, did I mention that calculus is awesome? Because it is.

Misc. Animation Stuff

(swf | gifs: 1 2 3)

Here’s this flash with Headphones Character and Long-Haired Character. I’ll probably add Bored-Looking Character and Teacher eventually as well. Maybe with some music and flashing lights, except I sorta fail at finding music.

And here’s the flash from the summer course I took, but with some new camera techniques (click the link to watch the original version without the fancy camera stuff). Except it’s not actually a camera because I’m not really filming anything, but you know what I mean. I made this because recently I decided to see if there was some way to move the visible area around like a camera instead of moving the entire background around the stage like I usually do, and I found something on the internet and decided to test it out. I chose to use this flash because it probably has the most action out of all the stuff I’ve ever made. Yeah.
