Also, it is around that time again… finals week!! I have some catching up to do, so if the posts next week are really lacking in new content (even more so than they already are, considering all the video posts I’ve been doing lately), that’s why.

President

Okay so this flash isn’t actually very interesting, but I figured I might as well mention that the president of the United States spoke at our school’s auditorium about something today. I don’t think most people from our school who attended actually knew what he was speaking about, but it was more about the “oh gosh it’s the president” factor. There were limited seats available to students so there was a lottery system to determine who would get them (I didn’t feel like entering). Anyway, the main building was super crowded with police, news crews/reporters, and other people. It was kinda annoying though ’cause then I didn’t get to go to the library during my two-hour break, since I figured it’d be a real hassle to get into the building. And yeah.

Reimu Transformation

This Reimu is also a Yin-Yang orb!! This is kinda like one of those morphing animations I did for that art class awhile back. I think I’ll do more of these in the future ’cause they’re cool.

In other news, I expected to be finished with that digital logic design project by today, but nope. I got most of it designed today, but I still have to actually build the thing. Which will be incredibly annoying, I can already tell.

Spring Break

Okay I don’t actually have anything today so I made this lame two-frame animation of Unnamed Character standing next to a breadboard with a blinking LED on it. It’s spring break (and has been since Saturday) but it definitely doesn’t feel like it because of all the homework, essays, reports, and projects and stuff so bleh. Spent practically all of yesterday and today on this digital logic design project (related to that two-frame animation up there), and I’m still not done, aaaagh! Mostly because I couldn’t figure out why the logic gate ICs on the breadboard weren’t working correctly and now I’m guessing it might be because I’m not using the right resistors or something. Oh well I’ll figure it out eventually.

Ideal Pulleys

Someone asked something like this and it was an actual response. Also suggested was the idea that the pulley and string were made of light and this was on an atomic level but I’m not sure if that would work at all. But the only logical solution is that it is magic.
