Well, we had a snow day today, which I find strange because we never really get snow days (since the subway makes it really easy to get around). So I spent some time making this. It’s kinda like this really old platformer test except it has Youmu and is better. But it’s still not a full game or anything, though. There are only three screens, and only two of them have actual enemies (FOEs that don’t move). Also, you can have negative health because I forgot to add a thing to check if your HP is zero, and I don’t really feel like doing that right now. Yeah.

I don’t really understand ripped jeans being sold at stores, or the fact that people actually buy them. Although I don’t think I know anyone who has ever bought ripped jeans (and I don’t know too many people who actually wear ripped jeans, either). Also, I was surprised that there is actually a guide on how to rip your own jeans (probably on tons of other sites on the internet as well). Well okay, maybe not that surprised, but… yeah. I don’t really follow fashion trends, because I’m the kind of person who thinks things like “why would I pay a hundred dollars for an expensive brand-name label when I can just wear some less expensive clothes that feel exactly the same or better?” Except for people who pay more for clothes that are made with environmentally friendly methods and materials or non-sweatshop labor, because I can understand that. I don’t know where I’m going with this, but it’ll probably waste time that I could be using to do other things, so I’ll stop now.
Oh yeah, and also, there’s this, for people who don’t already know.
This happens a lot, and when it does, I think “Why can’t the TV be closer?” and continue to watch a boring television program hoping that my TV remote will magically appear to save the day. But when it does appear, it’s too late.
In other news, regarding the Walfas shop at Zazzle, apparently a few people have had their orders canceled because of copyright issues, and I’ve emailed them about it but I have yet to receive a response. In any case, I set all the Touhou shirts/poster/etc to be hidden to avoid any further issues. Anyway, I’m not sure if I’d have to ask ZUN for permission to sell Touhou stuff, but anyone who knows anything about… uhh… when it’s okay to sell Touhou stuff, should post something here (and read this too). Anyway, as of today, I no longer have to go to zero period gym, so I get to wake up an hour and a half later, which is awesome. But what’s more awesome is the fact that since I got more sleep, I didn’t feel like taking a nap after school today! That means less time wasted sleeping in the afternoon, more time wasted on other things like homework! Or working on daily flash #200!
In related news, looks like daily flash #200 won’t be finished by today — it’s taking a lot longer than expected… Perhaps it’ll be done by tomorrow. Or if not, Thursday. I hope there’ll be an interesting new video (or videos) I can post tomorrow in case it’s not done by then, because it feels strange posting videos that aren’t so new.

Here’s a random fox girl (kitsune-musume) papercraft from this site. It was sorta hard to make; there were tons of small parts that required the use of toothpicks and ended up with multiple failed gluing attempts. I realized I messed up the head after the glue had dried, so I had to remove it, and it didn’t end well. Also, I couldn’t figure out how the hands were supposed to be assembled, so I just sorta just put a bunch of glue on it and randomly pushed things together. It definitely doesn’t look as nice as it’s supposed to, especially the mouth. Interestingly, the head and hair can be removed because they’re not actually glued on to anything, but I can’t really put it on anything because there’s a thing there.
Anyway, I feel like making some animated loops this week, but I don’t really have any ideas. Perhaps something involving Nitori and science, because I already sorta started drawing Nitori.
