I think it’s important to note that this actually happened today. It was pretty funny when it happened. And then a teacher asked some guy if he was going to the bathroom, and he was all “No, I’m going home.” I felt like I needed to include that in there too. Also, it’s hooooooooot. Cooler temperature is one of the many reasons why I like winter more than summer.
Ah yes, “staff development day.” Nobody really knows what it is, but nobody questions it because we don’t have to go to school. Anyway, there were some problems with the site before (some error message, then a rollback), but I guess they’re fixed now… hopefully. I spent most of the afternoon fixing stuff on different parts of the site, and not so much time on making today’s flash. Oh well. Sometimes it’s good when stuff goes wrong, because then I learn how to fix it. Today, I learned how to upload large SQL files without experiencing timeout errors! Yay!
You know… I think I actually learn a lot more when I make flashes about these kinds of things. Because when I do, I actually look up the historical event on the internet and read through it to get a basic understanding of what happened (and then I go ahead and disregard what I just read, making it as historically-inaccurate as necessary). Although of course, I pretty much only use Wikipedia, so as far as I know, this might have actually happened. But anyway, that’s besides the point. Alexander Hamilton was a bank guy. Yep, bank guy.
Hit my face on one of those big subway turnstiles (the ones that are like revolving doors, except not doors) today by going too fast. Kinda hurt. At least there’s no mark or anything.
